Alex Smethers is a Director and Head of U.K. Energy in the London office of Meadow Partners and is responsible for energy and infrastructure investments in Europe. Prior to joining Meadow Partners, Mr. Smethers led the U.K. and Ireland Renewable Energy division for German utility company Uniper, with primary responsibility for strategy and investment across the region. Mr. Smethers received a Master of Real Estate Management from the Henley Business School of the University of Reading in 2010 and a B.A. in Economic Geography from the University of Newcastle in 2009. Mr. Smethers is accredited as a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
